K-Pop sensation BLACKPINK to perform down under

Popular South Korean girl group BLACKPINK are bringing their sold-out world tour down under.

The K-pop quartet confirmed the good news earlier this week with the announcement of tour stops in Australia, North America, and Europe.

While specific dates have yet to be released, the Asian leg of the tour is set to wrap up in Taiwan on March 3.

Despite being Korean, member Roseanne Park, officially known by her stage name Rosé, was born in New Zealand and moved to Australia with her family when she was seven-years-old.

The talented star, now 21, was discovered at 16 after attending an audition in Melbourne for South Korean record label YG Entertainment.

At the launch of BLACKPINK's world tour in Bangkok on Wednesday, Rosé said: 'I was so touched by the warm welcome when we arrived today.
